poppypop

yesterday i finally got to talk to my sisters. both of them at the same time! its incredible whats possible with technology and skype! it makes my life better cause sometimes you just have to talk to your sisters! so i promised them to show a picture of my dear husband in his popcorn sweater. and ye, its one of my favourites. you can touch the popcorn, its popping up...
other than laughing at this sweater and all the funny stuff kenny does am trying to make ok cappucinos, which is harder than you would think! its all about rolling the milk and not ripping it, right? so thats what my life is consumed with nowadays and its gonna be nice to have some days off to go to las vegas. gamble all the dollars away... no. kennys parents live there and its thanksgiving next week so we are driving. its gonna be a nice little roadtrip into the desert of nevada.

finally back

i finally found my blog again...
so here are some pictures i have been wanting to post. they are all by elisabeth lund.
my days are starting to have a rutine and it feels like we have lived here much longer than 2 months... I got a job at this nice coffeeshop and i am experiencing the american hard working life for the first time. i come from a country where we like our vacations, half tax in december, overtime paid, holiday paid, night paid, all the extra money you possibly can get out of your employer. in america, its a different story. people roll their eyes and think i talk of some weird sosialistic paradise while i dream about my 10% vacation money i wont be getting next summer. so thats an adjustment. but i will finally be going back to full-time school after christmas, which i cant wait to get on and be done with. other than that its pretty quiet in sacramento, nice to ride your bike and many womderful old trees with alot of leaves, but a little too suburban for us youngsters without kids... glad theres no snow here though. so enjoy these pictures till next time, now that i remembered my login name...
